ISRAELS PRESIDENT PERES talar i FN samma vecka som Irans president Ahmadinejad. FN:s Generalförsamlings 63:e session började den 16 september och generaldebatten är planerad att äga rum 23 september – 1 oktober.

Ahmadinejad talar enligt agendan tisdagen den 23 september kl 4 PM och Peres onsdagen den 24 september kl 12.30 PM.

Ahmadinejad har talat om att Israel ska utplånas från kartan. Iran är den störste uppbackaren av terroristgrupper som Hizbollah och Hamas som har avfyrat mer än 8.000 raketer och missiler mot Israel. Irans nukleära program representerar ett allvarligt och omedelbart hot som måste stoppas. Iran har lovat att dela med sig av sin nukleära teknologi med andra – material som troligtvis kommer terroristgrupper till handa.

Andra världsledare, som kommer att tala inför FN:s generalförsamling, har tagit starkt avstånd från ett nukleärt Iran inklusive USA, UK, Tyskland och Frankrike.

REFLEKTION Folk i allmänhet frågar sig varför FN kan tillåta Ahmadinejad att uppträda med sin uppvigling till genocide? Hur kan det alls vara möjligt att diktaturer  och odemokratiska stater tillsammans med demokratier genomsyrar hela FN-organisationen och alla dess strukturella delar? Vilka är de dokument som ger FN legitimitet i den funktion organisationen av idag har? Vilken är grunden för utvecklingen av FN till den koloss som saknar trovärdighet och auktoritet?

Detta är bara några frågor som aktualiseras när Ahmadinejad talar på tisdag den  23/9.

Ahmadinejad har gjort ett stort antal uttalanden om förintelse av Israel. Den som bemödar sig om att ta del av enbart nedanstående (46) citat inser vidden och djupet av hans beslutsamhet. Dessa uttalanden av Ahjmedinejad tycks FN helt ignorera...

CITATEN NEDAN torde vara exempelsamling nog att få omvärlden att undra över FN:s passivitet och ignorans inför de hot som gjorts och görs av Irans president Ahmadinejad.
