GOOD FRIDAY 1989 in UK was not going, black dressed, to an Evangelical Lutheran church. For us with our tradition from childhood with the special feelings and thoughts this day (not to do anything at all except being in 100% stillness and quietness) it was a very special event for us Swedes to join the fellowship out into a park playing games and have a real good time enjoying nature, green grass and this UK-Sweden fellowship…

And what Riverside Birmingham also gave our family was a
young man called Ulf that Anna met in UK. Today they are
married with and it started all in Riverside, B’ham, UK.

Jesuscreed this UK event from yesterday:
The Lutheran church across the street has an annual Easter weekend custom. On Good Friday they station Roman soldiers outside the grave. They stay there all weekend. Then on Easter morning Jesus gets up from the grave and walks outside. Here are the soldiers guarding the tomb on Holy Saturday.
GOOD FRIDAY IN UK is special, you see. Or the people… IT'S EASTERTIME 2006. And i am wondering about these Roman soldiers: - Are they standing on spot there night and day – without relieving guard? And also musing about us Lutherans, - Real special, or what to say... ?
