NEWS
We are pleased to announce that Anne Barbeau Gardiner has agreed to become a contributing editor for the magazine. She has been one of the most active writers we have (she’s had book reviews in the Sept. and Oct. issues with others coming up in the Dec. and Jan./Feb. issues, and two or three features coming soon). Her past contributions can be found here
She is a professor emerita of English at John Jay College of the City University of New York. A leading scholar in her field of 18th century literature (in which there is, she reports, a rapidly growing interest in Divine providence and even the argument from design), she is the author of a widely praised scholarly work, Ancient Faith and Modern Freedom in John Dryden’s The Panther and the Hind. She is a member of various organizations, including the scholarly ones in her field and the University Faculty for Life and the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars.

INTELLIGENT DESIGN
We are pleased to announce that all of the primary articles from the July/August 2004 issue of Touchstone have been posted to our online archive. This issue was titled, “Darwin’s Last Stand?” and had several articles on Darwinism, naturalism, and intelligent design. The issue was so popular that it sold out very quickly and we are still getting regular requests for the issue, so that we decided to post the contents earlier than we would normally have done.
