Christianity - Wherever…
The Swedish Christianity needs power and wisdom from Above - needs Grace by the Holy Spirit - for its mission. We have this need for revival together with All the Global Christianity wherever we live; in Spain, Mississippi, India, NY, Russia or wherever in the world we are The body of Christ or Christianity.
Let the early and late History remind us about the Grace from Above. Between 1936 and 1941 our Ethiopian friends received power and wisdom in a wonderful way. May 5, 1936, Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, had fallen to Mussolini's invading armies. Emperor Haile Selassie had to flee. Barefoot Ethiopian soldiers resisted bravely against tanks and mustard gas, but the Italians won.
Soon the victors came for the missionaries, who left just 48 baptized Christians behind them in Wallamo. These had the Gospel of Mark and a few other passages of scripture in their language, but few knew enough to read even that. Several of the Christians already knew first hand what persecution was like, having experienced it from heathen neighbours. The missionaries prayed constantly.

The Swedish Christianity remembers in a special way what has happened in Ethiopia and the Christianity there. We praise the Lord for the given Grace and also for the privilege the Swedish church got to assist these friends in Africa.
The history reminds us in The Swedish Christianity and also The Global Christianity that the Lord is mighty to reveal his love and presence anew over his children wherever we are.
